UME Clinics is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Erika Brand to the clinic’s medical staff. Dr. Brand will be part of our Longevity and Biohacking department in our San Juan Unit.

Salutogenesis is a valuable but little-explored field. — Dr. Erika Brand

Dr. Brand has been a physician and surgeon since 2017, with a strong background in the clinical field. Her main areas of specialization are integrative medicine, functional medicine, and longevity medicine, an approach that brings together technological advancements, precision medicine, and TCIM knowledge. She considers salutogenesis to be a valuable yet under-explored field and has a deep passion for sharing her knowledge with patients and communities through education, promoting health-building with prevention as a fundamental pillar in healthcare systems.

She has extensive experience in the management of chronic diseases (cancer, autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular problems, depression and anxiety), as well as infectious diseases, especially due to her work as a medical expert in HIV.

Academically, she has successfully completed a master’s degree in Epidemiology and Public Health and is close to finishing a master’s in Immunology, an area she has cultivated with dedication since before earning her medical degree.
